We spent all night at the Berry fishing from 10 PM last night till 10 AM this morning. It was extremely cold out there but the fishing was good. We caught around 30 fish over night. We did not catch any over the slot and no rainbows at all. We fished near the campgrounds in 30 foot of water. Most fish were caught on very small glow jigs with powerbait.
Nice report. Windy ?

Nice report. I've always wanted to try that. In what range of time would you say the fishing was the best?

Wow you guys are hardcore!! sO was the bite consistent or did they just come in schools?

For the most part they came through in schools. We would catch several at a time then it would slow down till the next school came in.
Where did you guys put the 4 wheelers on the lake at?

We parked right by the tents. They did not want to start the next morning. I had to put my Ice Cube tent over the wheeler and turn the heater on to warm it up enough to start.
I meant where you acessed the lake? Strawberry marina? Or a different place?
Thanks

I have always wanted to do that. Did you sleep at all? I have a buddy who goes out on his cot and fishes through the night with a bell on his pole. When he gets bit he wakes up and fishes until the bite slows down and then he goes back to sleep until the bell rings again.
I don't think a bell on a pole would ever wake me up, especially on a light bite. I enjoyed the report.

We entered the lake from the marina. I did not sleep at all but a few of my friends were snoring throughout the night until the heard me yelling FISH ON. They woke up pretty fast to help catch the school as they went by. Most of the hits were very mild, so I don't think a bell would have done the trick.
I have fished with bells quite frequently. The fish always seem to hook themselves whenever i have used them.
