There are some knowledgeable guys onboard here who can be very helpful in technique and location of popular fishing holes. But... be advised that they are, for the most part, chronic and habitual liars when they are reporting on catch sizes. You should call into question the veracity of any claimant that reports a fish size/length that is not supported by a picture and/or verification by three credible witnesses. Any fish size report without this corroboration should automatically be reduced by a factor of one quarter. A "25 inch rainbow" from The Gorge, for example, without picture or testimony, is probably an 18 incher.
This tendency to fib is the only character flaw in an otherwise pretty good bunch of guys.[][]
