The thought just struck me that I haven't heard anything about Mackay for a long time. I would drive that far if I knew it was producing fish. Any suggestions as to where to go would be appreciated. I would like to catch some Kokes but would settle for anything. I do not like to get "SKUNKED".

I had a friend fish it last Sunday . They caught four Rainbows . They said there alot of fishermen and most were not catching anything . Island Park is the hot spot right now . Saturday I caught 11 and on Monday I caught 20 . Mostly planters .

Thanks for the update. I just heard from my son that some friends of his were just up on Ririe this morning and after a 2 hour wait the Kokes came by and they nailed them. As they were leaving some other guys asked to use their holes and they limited out also. I may gamble and try Ririe this time. I'm sure that school of Kopkes will stay right there until I get up there. HA HA - It's always just a gamble, but at least we know they are there and hungry. Just got to be in the right place at the right time.

A friend has been nailing the rainbows on the river channel about 100 yards up from the wet water. He says the ice is 15" there. Said the kokanee guys in the usual spot by the boat ramp have been really slow.
