Would like to venture to Strawberry Sunday morning. If you believe the weather reports, the Berry could receive 18" to 30" of snow beginning yesterday through Monday. Was anyone up there today that can give an update on access, snow, ice, and fishing conditions?
Thanks!

Arrived at the Strawberry Marina just after 7:00 a.m. Rained all day turning the snow on the ice to slush. Not impossible to drive an ATV through; however, it was getting difficult when we got off the ice at 3:00 p.m. It was difficult getting an ATV up the boat ramp - snow was 12-inches deep and had turned to dense slush. Some guys required up to 6 guys pushing to get to the top of the ramp.
We drove ATVs out near the mouth of the Strawberry River - the slush & water across the ice varied from 2 to maybe 6 inches. When we left the marina parking at around 3:30 p.m. the rain had turned to snow and was snowing hard.

My little Bro. (actually just younger, he's bigger) & I hit the berry this morning at the ladders. Had my snowmobile & went over toward Trout Creek. The slush was from 2 to maybe 4" deep but it rained off& on all day. We left about 3:30 & it was snowing HARD. Fished @ 30' for a while, iced several but that quit so went in to about 17" & iced a bunch more. All slot cutts but a fun day anyhoo.
