[#800000]Arrived at the South Beach area about 8:45 AM and headed out on my quad. The edge looked like a jig saw puzzle with all the broken pieces, but was solid enough to hold my quad. Stopped and talked with a gentleman from Cokeville who was just setting up. He said the water master told him that the reservoir is rising about 2 inches per day.[/#800000]

[#800000]I then headed over to my hot spot from last year and set up in 40 feet of water. First drop down this baby hit on the drop. I was pumped.[/#800000]

[#800000]Then it slowed right down but didn't quit. I stayed until about 3:30 PM and caught 3 more 12" trout and 5 perch. Three of the perch were maybe 3" and the other two came close to 6". I had lots of VERY light hits with no hookups. I could see on the Vexilar that the fish were there, but they didn't like what I was offering.[/#800000]

[#800000]The ice edge was still strong enough to hold my quad on the trip back and the ice was at least a foot thick everywhere I drilled. I'll probably try again in a week or so.[/#800000]
