Fished it sat with a group of 14 caght 3 bows slow as h#$l other groups around us did not do as well. ice is still 10 to 12 inches thick in the rock cliff arm. did not see many on the finder. watch out for the state park lady she likes to give tickets to your kids if they arent wearing helments. I fished out from the main boat ramp on saturday 8-2. 2 bows for five of us. Later in the day I had quite a few fish on the finder but didn't want anything offered? Very frustrating. The rainbows came on shrimpos with powerbait on one and nightcrawler on the other. If you go let us know if it's any better.

we used a four wheeler to haul our gear out and a guy in our party had to leave so my son drove him to the parking lot and they got tickets for no helments. i am all for being safe but i hate it when big brother thinks my boy needs a ticket for driving 2 miles an hour across the ice with 3 guys on a 4 wheeler. i guess i get to pay her wages for a day or 2.[:/]
