I headed to Yuba tonight after work and hit PR for a few perch. In two hours I managed to catch 4 decent perch and a few bait perch... The bait perch were being quite annoying and as it closed in on 630 the bite died so i split.

I shan't bother with the pics of tiny perch but the edges are interesting so i will show those... very soft about 3ft out, semi soft for another foot or so (I'm 280 so soft is subjective)... if you wander around you can find a spot with good ice to the shore, at least to get u out... The middle has some soft spots too so be on the lookout, a couple new separations kept me from my favorite spot ... but the island will do...

I was a loner at the time....Looked like a couple other guys were out before me today and judging by the blood they did ok too. I was using a blue fox rattle lure tipped with worm and they seemed to really like it.(a buck at walmart so i had to try it out)... got a bite on each drop but they were light and i missed quite a few.

I am sure i will be back Saturday if the weather holds...
