Spent several hours at Fish Lake today. lots and lots of 7 to 9 inch small perch in the weeds near the shore. Bit best on Apex 1/32 Laser Minnows tipped with a small piece of shrimp. This worked better than any thing else I tried. Had one on as soon as it hit near bottom. Also caught a number of small splake. Out further didn't mark much and had few hits (actually only one which was an about 17 inch splake). Drilled maybe 8 holes (power auger broke and had to use hand auger) to depths of about 60 feet. A blizzard was setting in (got about 4 inches of snow while I was there so left after on a couple of hours fishing in mid day).

I was up there yesterday and the ice is still more than a foot thick and a week ago the ice at twin creeks right were the water comes in and going towards bowery for about 200 feet had no ice so make sure you make a good loop around it as for the fish get there before it gets light I fished in 70 foot and done good on white tube jigs with no bait or scent on them about 10:00 am it got slow and still seen a lot of fish on the fish finder but the bit was slow and could not find anything that worked on them
