Headed up to the Rockcliffs arm at the Nelle on Saturday. Arrived at 6:00 am and were in the water by 6:45 and fished till about noon. Just like some of our other BFTers have mentioned, it was pretty slow in comparison to years past, but we still had a bit of action. Between the two of us we caught three, but it was my brother that did all the catching. I got skunked, [frown] but still had a good time. I had quite a few bites and a nice one at the hole, but he got loose before I could get him on the ice. All three were decent sized Rainbows. We used glowinthedark jigs tipped with wax worm.

We didn't check, but now that you mention it I wish we would have. They were fatties.

Ice was still 10-12 inches.
