I still haven't been able to make it up to Jordanelle to go after some smallies and this next week is going to be a no fishing week for me. I'm taking my LSAT Law school admissions test on Monday the 9th and my wife is actually making me study! The nerve!

Anyways...how long does the smallie bite typically last up at Jordanelle? If I can only make it up there for about two-three hours in the evenings is it worth it?

Due to the late spring, the spawn could run to late june. The water levels are going to effect the fish drasticly. North lake should be in full blown spawn, but the beds most likely are very deep(20 feet and deeper). The Provo arm and up by the river will run later. Thurs morning, i had water temps running 45-53 degrees from the river mouth to the no wake bouys. The north end was 63 plus and few fish in the shallow areas. The lake has risen well over 20 feet in the last 2 weeks. just imho

Last Sat. the best bite was between 3-5pm. I didn't start fishing until noon, so I don't know if it's better in the morning.
