We were planning on going to East Canyon today, but with the snow totals in the northern mountains we decided to go to Strawberry. We went to the marina, down the ramp, in 30' of water. There was at least a foot of new snow making it hard to walk to far. Also a lot of drifting snow. A guy at the marina store said the wind was blowing 50 mph yesterday. Atvs would get bogged down if they went out on the ice today, what snowmobiles that were out stayed on the groomed trails.
Now for fishing. [fishin] Started at 8 and left at noon. The weather was good, but the wind started to gust at noon. Two of us caught 5 fish. The bite was very lite making it hard to hook the fish. I took my jigs off and just put a worm on the jig hook and this made it easier to hook the fish. The bites seemed to come in groups like every half hour.
