We went to Yuba today at the main marina and caught 9 perch. Wanted to move more but had auger problems.
All pretty big. The edges are getting bad but 50 feet south of the ramp there is a area that is still ok.

Most were right on the bottom in about 30 feet of water. We did have to move around to find them and when the auger had problems we just stayed in the same place for the last 2 hours. The big one was 15 ounces and 12 inches long.

Hey Cliff, you shouldn't worry about how thick the ice is...you have that amphibeous vehicle, right..[cool]

PS: hope your ATV is ok.

Yes but the wiring or ends of some have gone bad and had to be replaced because of the water...

Ice was about10-12 inches where we were. Most were caught on ratfinkys and a waxy.
Some of them really hit hard. (for a perch)
