Fished Da Berry on 2-22 out by the bathroom on Haws Point hit the ice around 11 AM we were there about 10 minutes and the fish cops showed up checking licences I hadn't been fishing since New Years Day and forgot that it had expired in the middle of the month so [mad] I got a citation and have to call them to find out how much of a fine I will have to pay later this week[pirate] ([pirate]side note went up to the marina and bought a new licence talked to a guy that got checked last week and was fishing with 2 poles without the proper licence and the is a $150 fine[pirate]). Fishing was slow the first place we set up we were to shallow we forgot the fish finder at home so we had no way to tell how deep we were so we moved out about 50 yards and found some deeper water there were 3 of us fishing caught one and had 2 other hits all on a red body white squid tail tube jig tipped with a wax worm only fished until 4:30 PM

Will try again this weekend depending on the weather.

How was the slush? Did you use snowmobiles or ATV s to get over there? We are trying to get up there later this week. Thanks.

I almost did the same thing up there in January, I knew it was coming up, so I looked it up and it would have expired by a day. I have been in Utah a little over a year and compared to other states I have lived in, F&G don't play here. Hope your fine isn't too high, I am sure you won't forget that again.[]

We used snowmobiles to get out to the spot the only slushy spots we hit were in the areas that noone has gone through yet wouldn't advise the use of ATVs its just way to slushy for them.
