I decided that since the weather has been pretty good as of late that I would venture out on my first fishing trip of the year. No, not on the ice. I dont mess with that!!! I headed up to my favorite river up north in Idaho. Oneida Narrows (Bear River)!!! Got there around 8:45 and was out of there at around Noon'ish-thirty!!! Only managed one (about 12-13"), but that is better than how my year started last year (6 trips, zero fish)!!! Did manage a lot of bites, just have not been fishing for so long (October) that I forgot what to do, that is my excuse anyhow!!! Hope to get up there when the ice comes off the reservoir for the Walleye. Just want to show some of the guys on the Idaho board how to catch them up there since that is the "talk of the town" on the Idaho board!!!
