Reelfast, Wiperslayer and I made a trip up to the big blue on Saturday to check out a new fishfinder and get the cob webs off the jet boat[Wink]. We arrived around 7am and left around 3pm. Water temp was 32* and the weather was good for most of the day. We fished the Rock pile area and boated 5, four cutts and one mack that was 28 inches. Here are the pictures of the three bigger fish.

Thanks for the help with that fish finder. It would have taken all day for me to get it done. Can hardly wait to get a look at some of the places we fish with it.

Yes, that is a very nice sidefinder set up. I know it is a Hummingbird but what is the model?

I got a call today from two fishermen who braved the snow (over a foot from yesterday's storm) and got out on the lake today. Both did very well. One guy didn't start fishing until 3:00pm and he called me at 5:00pm and had 5 fish (all cutts and nothing exceptionally large). The other guy I talked to caught 9 fish (8 cutts and one laker). The laker was about 8.5lbs and the cutts were 17-24". Thats pretty good success for BL. By the way they were fishing in 60' of water north of the rockpile.

Sounds like the same area we were fishing. I know what you mean Scott, I consider it a great day on the big blue lake to catch 5 trout, to catch 9 is an awesome day and a nice mack just sweetens the deal[Wink].
