me and a friend got together this evening and decided to fish for a couple hours before dark.... he wanted to go quanity over quality, so we went to some places we had caught some spots before.... we broke out the dropshot and the shaky heads and picked up some adult beverages and while we were at it we went ahead and jumped in the evening tournament... (you never know when you might catch a biggun) ... well, 12&quot; is the legal state limit for spots right? actually im not sure, but thats what the bfl rules said the other day... back to fishing..... we caught 30 plus fish, most of which were around 13 -14 inches long..... none over 15 inches..(tourney rules are all fish have to be 15&quot; to weigh) after catching like 10 or so we decided that if wanted to win, we should leave or we could stay there and catch one every two or three cast and shoot the @#$@. we went with staying there and catching them til dark.... finally got us a keeper on dropshot, and another 3lber on a jig.<br /><br />we didnt win the tourney, but we had a good time..... from what i heard everyone talking the fish really ate good today all day long......
