Had a pretty good day on Tims today. The fish are getting where they suppose to be this time of year. Started off fishing by myself and got into them pretty quick. Practicing for the Coca Cola TX. Didn't wear a spot out and moved alot but they were pretty easy to pattern. Pulled on one spot and felt a thump and managed a 21 lb 10oz Rockfish. It about wore my batteries down chasing it, didn't want to lose my little thing I was throwing since I had 6 lb test on. Met a friend from Nashville at noon and we wacked them pretty good. Actually caught fish all day long with 7 keepers 18" plus and a bunch in the 16 to 17 range. Water temp was 47 on the lower end but warmed up quick as we ran up River. With the Tx coming up going to keep quite on our lure selection. Rained alot and I have finally found a rain suit that keeps me dry after all these years. It ain't pretty but that green Guidewear is the stuff. Early this mourning the bait was getting mauled by the hybrids and Stripers. If you lik to catch them things I believe now is a good time to get over there.
