Fished from 8:00 to about 11:00. Caught nothing. It was a beatiful day though, so I am not gonna complain. Was near the dam at Rockport Res. Checked out the acutal res also. It is still mostly ice. Anyone that wants to throw a tip at me about where some good spots to access the weber, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Taggerts area is good, and about anywhere you can pull off the freeway is good. The problum with the weber river is all of the fishing preasure that it gets.I was up there on Tuesday, and even though it was a work day every 1/4 of a mile there was a vehicle pulled over and someone was fishing the river.I am one of those guys if I cant be there by myself I wont even bother fishing.I know there are still good places to fish but fishing preasure the last 10 years has just gotten crazyNo such thing as sollitude anymore!

the areas that i fish... i rarely see a soul... thats why i fishem!!! and thats where the best fish is too be had... stay off the beaten path.. do some hiking... you will find your solitude... i can think of two sections of that river that are almost untouched and one of which is prob an 8 mile section with no access.... thats solitude.

Try not to pay too much attention to trout slayer. He seems to have that perverbial chip on the shoulder for some reason. He don't really contribute much, just lays in the bushes like a hungry dog and jumps on people like you for no reason.

Yes I know the type, all bark and no bite, easy to do behind a computor. But I think I have been the same way to someone else in the past.So no affense to anyone on this site,I love fishing just like everyone else,I just go back to the days of Bucket loads of Crappie at Willard and the View and just other places that have changed to fit the needs of all of todays fisherman. But the changes have been good ones. PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![Wink]
