Hammer61 and myself headed out to UL Fri. morning. It was a beautiful day, but being our first time there looking for the eyes we had no idea were to go. We heading west from Lincoln point didnt have much luck early but did manage to bring up 1 walleye(male) and 1 rock. We settled in a likely spot but didnt do well but the boats in the area seem to be getting a few. Most people were fishing a green mr. twister. in about 5 -7 ft of water. In my opinion I think the action has started. Just alittle heads up ITS TIME
My brother-in-law started picking them up earlier in the week. He sent me a picture on the cell phone of 1/2 dozen they caught, the largest was 29 inches. He called me yesterday morning from the lake and they had put an 8 pounder in the boat, that was around 8 A.M. He said the fisherman had been hammering them at the Spanish Fork but it was really crowded, so he has been mainly fishing from his boat.

We did have a realy good time. What a beautiful day it was. I also think it is time to be on Utah Lake for the eyes. Water temp was in the high 40s.
I wish eveyone out there could have been in the boat when you caught the rock. Man i thought for sure it was a tem pound eye that just did not want to shake his head to give himself up.
Great day, good freind, and a eye.
IT JUST DONT ANY BETTER
