I know the feeling I hit the middle provo early AM during a weekday and theres was a person fishing every few hundred feet. Caught only 1 little brown out of a deep hole near the path way. Any suggestion to fish on the lower with out being crowded ?

I used to fish the lower near the bridge just upstream passed that underground tunnel. I like to cross the bridge and walk upstream for quite a ways. I have done pretty good using FB bead head pheasant tails or sow bugs. Also have gotten into great BWO dry fly action in the middle of the day. During the late summer I like to use a hopper/dropper setup with any hopper or stimulator and a sow bug dropper.
I think right now is the best time to go. On that section in the summer as you might or might not know recreational tubers are floating down it as a lazy river and dont have very good control. I know its there right and I dont get worked up but they have spooked actively feeding fish on many of my favorite holes, so you better get there soon. I havent been since the major construction and I heard that a lot of the pull offs from the highway are n o longer their. Maybe that will reduce pressure also.
I would plan on getting there at sunrise and leaving as soon as the weather is sunny warm and suitable enough for the "Lazy River" to start flowing.( around noon)(unless BWO's are going off)then you can still catch fish with people floating in on or around your hole.
