[size 3]Fishing has been slow at Willow Beach since NDOW has concluded its trout plants for the summer season. Over the weekend one boater reported catching stripers that weighed 14½ and 16 pounds while fishing with a homemade lure.[/size]
[size 3]Largemouth bass fishing has been fairly good in coves around Cottonwood Cove with one angler reporting that he recently caught bass that weighed 4½ and 5½ pounds. Stripers and channel catfish that range from one to three pounds are being caught above and below Cottonwood.[/size]
