Hit the Riverpark with Alvin today (we played hookie). Fished from 1 to 7PM and boated 2 smallies, 48 spots, 1 bluegill, and 1 nice 6lb drum. Fish were somewhat slow today but we had spurts were we boated 15 or so per hour and then go to 3-4 per hour. 1/4 oz DJW spinnerbaits got most of them today with some on tubes, one on shaky head, and one on a crank. Alvin's 3 lber came on a tube and would have been a TARP if we tracked such things. Fish are still in their pre-spawn mode and were in 10-15 feet of water with a few up shallower. Out best 5 spots would have went around 11 lbs.

Water temp was a surprising 56-57 but the weather today was perfect. Only saw two other boats fishing so we had the river to ourselves for most of the day.
