I found the big blue cats today, and they were all in an area the size of a 55 gallon drum! I worked my usual haunts and the fishing was very slow - I saw maybe 6 very small cats caught all day. Meanwhile, on one of my drifts I hooked up a double on GOOD cats (see pic). The one on the rod in my hand weighed 72 pounds, while the one in the rod holder went 22.<br /><br />I went over to another boat where a young man from west Tennessee named Will was fishing and got him to shoot some pics for a contest I'm in. He was really nice (and amazed) so I gave him a couple of skipjack and some advice. I went back to the spot where I caught the fish for another try.<br /><br />Another double on big fish again! What a hoot!!!! This time it was a 50 and a 20!! Again, the rod I was bouncing caught the bigger fish. I waved at Will and he came over and took more pics for me, so this time I took him to THE spot and said "fish right here", and the boy (28 years old) had paid attention to what I had taught him and in just a minute or two was into a BIG fish! It turned out to be a 75 pound monster blue!!! The boy pretty much peed all over himself 'cause this was his personal best fish ever, including saltwater species emoTongue (actually, the big blue peed all over him while I giggled). This time I played netman and cameraman and shot a bunch of pics for Will. He let her go and his face just HAD to hurt from smiling that much emoDance I lined him up again on the teeeny tiny hot spot and the rotten little poop hung another really nice fish! This time it weighed 42 pounds! More pics! Had to use my big net again! He had to go to meet his friends, and the wind was getting up something fierce, so I called it a day (and a wonderful one at that). He gave me his e-mail and I'll send him a bunch of pics - his friends won't believe him otherwise because as we all know, without pics it's just another fish story!!!!
