Started off in Harrison Bay with Traps. Scott boated a keeper on his first cast and proceeded to wear me out all day. Most of our fish were in 2-6ft of water. Had a limit by 9:30. Covered alot of water today and caught fish on almost every stop. We kinda got lucky early figured out a good pattern with the high dirty water. We had been catching alot of fish on traps the last few weeks and jerkbaits when the water was clearer but unless we bounced it off there nose we figured the crank bite would be tough to scrounge together a limit. We caught lots of fish on traps but caught our quality fish came flipping laydowns. Now for the story on Ramjacks big fish. Scott has a flaw in his fishing that comes and goes at times where he "locks up" "geeks out" anyway its a complete seperation of his brain and his body that happens when a good fish is on. We had the 6.8 hooked good and it comes up and shakes its head and Ramjack locks up. Im standing there with the net and i look back at Scott and he has the special ed look on his face as the fish dives at the boat. Finally RamJack gaines some composure and we get the fish in the boat. This happens again on a fish we lost where the only thing he can manage to say is "dude take the rod an reel this in" I laugh cause i think hes hung up until i see the line ripping side ways in the water. So we got lucky yesterday and put together our best sack we have weighed in had a blast doing it. emoToast
