I was wanting to share some info on Henry's fork. It was a coulple yrs back and I don't remember what road I crossed over the fork on but it's about 1 mile south of the lake on the river. I was taking the family to Yellowstone and saw a guy fishing, stopped and had one heck of an afternoon catching 18-20 inch cutthroats. They were in thick as flies, maybe on the spawn. It was Memorial day weekend and it was awesome fly fishing, just couldn't pick the wrong pattern.

Which lake on the river? The Ashton Res, Henry's lake, Island Park res? If you can tell us which lake you were near I bet one of us can tell you where you were.

I'll have to pull out my map. The one guy I talked with said the river we were fishing came out of Henry's Fork lake. I didn't know there were multiple lakes... I will find it and post it, awesome cutthroat though!

Okay I found it on google maps...North of St Anthony, a little more than a mile north of Chester on Rt 20. I fished the right side of the road heading north on Memorial day and man what a blast.

Sounds like you were on the Fall River. I've never heard really good reports in there before, but it always looks really fishy to me. I would bet you hit a spawning run just right there. I'll definitely have to hit that spot one of these days.

Yea I'm telling ya it was Memorial day weekend and you couldn't find a thing they wouldn't take. Well I may be exagerating a bit but the fishing was great that day!
