Hello Rwender,
I have fished what I would think is a lot of different baits, and lures but have never tried the glow in the darks. I have heard that they do work, and I know the glow paints are popular right now.
Its a great question and I wish I could be more helpful but I'll look forward to reading this post to hear from anglers who have fished them.
By the way for any of you who do answer this and do use these, which ones are your favorites?

Hey there rwender,
As theangler said, good topical question. It just so happens that there's been a number of posts regarding glow-in-the-depths lures from of all groups... the tuna anglers down San Diego, CA way. I also heard guys jigging deeper for yellowtailss and White Sea Bass on the back side of Catalina Island and the deeper banks had high hopes too.
Seems like some of the saltwater jig makers here on the West Coast are starting to do glow-in-the-dark stuff. I believe Salas and Tady have some stuff out for field testing from the way they were being talked about.
One point to remember is that just because (as if I had to remind most) it glows nicely in the mid-depths, doesn't mean it's gonna be the same further down. I'm always dissapointed to think my air brush efforts are never fully appreciated by fishies even 25 feet down. Poor things!!
Like you I hope to hear more input,
JapanRon

just go for it dude... the worst thing that can happen is that you wont get any fish on it.. and that really isnt that bad.... you probably have more lures in your box

i have seen this question asked on other sites and always with the same result , a link back to the same site .
you know there are better ways of promoting your product line . i would sudgest contacting the webmaster about promotional oppertunities that are available on this site . the webmaster provides some advertising free of charge on appropiate forums ( try the advertisers board )
this type of "bait" puts a negitive light on the product line , i'm sure thats not the image that you would like to project in the fishing community. the product itself is interesting , but this attempt makes me wonder if the item is as cheap in construction as this type of marketing .
sucessful promotion of your product is easily done here , and , several options for promoting are available . simply contact the webmaster for more details . he's a good guy and can assist you no mater what your advertising budget is .

Lonehunter (&others),
You are right. I'm wrong. Moving online from a local-only operation I've tried several different ways to attract visitors to see my lures. This type of 'bait' does need to stop. Thanks for calling me on it, my apologizes.
