Arrived at Sheep Creek this morning at 0830, air temp 38* water temp 34*. Overcast skies but no rain, snow or wind. Thinking it was going to be a great day NOT!!!! Cruised along the shoreline all around the bay and hardly marked a fish. I am thinking the unsettled weather has really put the fish off and we could hardly find em all morning.

We kept getting a bite here and there and had a couple on but they came unbuttoned. By 1 p.m all four of us were fishless and since there was a dollar bet on the first fish I thought I better get going. Jigging a 3" white tube jig tipped with chub meat I finally set a good hook into a fish, not a Bow' like I was expecting but a nice Mac pup, first fish of the day and the money winner.

We marked a nice school of Macs in 20' of water, had a few more nibbles but no more hook ups. Decided to throw some spinners and that got me another Bow' and my buddy caught 2 Bows' on his spinner. We threw everything but the kitchen sink at em today and ended up with 4 fish. Had lots of fun with my fishing partners even though the catching wasn't great it still beats work.

Fish caught on white tube jigs, Crocodile spoons and Mepps spinner. Had bites on black tube jigs and brown/sparkle tube jigs.

We were over on the shore and could see and hear you guys. The little boy sounded pretty excited to catch one. We managed one 16" and one 20" rainbow in about 3 hours. Definately not a catchin day. Another group we met hadn't caught any in the morning.

I was a little disappointed in the catching (long drive from SLC for 4 fish) but still nice to have some soft water. Glad you got a few. Good fishing. Remo
