Got to go out for a little while this evening and wanted to hit an old spot in Long Island Creek that has been good in the past. When I arrived after a small run, I found some good colored water not muddy but fishable. Water temps were in the upper 50's but the only thing I saw hitting was gar. I fished the majority of the creek then ran back down river to the steam plant. Fished the old dam and the discharge with the only fish were White bass on awhite grub n jighead. Tried a tube with no success. There were some HUGE gar in there in the discharge but I couldnt even get them to bite.

I remember now there was a reason I quit fishing that area, I will go back though when it warms up. I have caught good fish out of the creek in the past.

http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/CouchFishing/l_f2a1dd57037a42b8a7807c5a346b030e.jpg
