[center]I went to the Fly Tying Expo today and learned to tie a few flies. Entered a few drawings and won an Okuma 5/6 fly reel and a box of flies. I also ordered a new pontoon. Can't wait for it to get here. It will be nice. I seen quite a few people I work with and also got to meet Joni (FG) which was cool. Here is pic of the new toon. Watch out fish!

You'll like that model, I have a cardiac canyon and that will hopefully be in my future arsenal one day. I'm working on a getting my clearwater spey outfit now.

Man that is nice! Congrats! What model of North Fork is is that?

I briefly made it out there today, but had the 2yr old with me and all he wanted to do was check out the boats and try to climb in them. Didn't last too long once he realized all the "real" boats were outside. Basically just got to walk through then left again. Maybe one of these days I'll be off work and be able to sneak away on my own when the expo is in [angelic]. Looks like you got yourself a nice boat though. I saw them and was wondering how they handle. You'll have to give us a review once you get it out a couple times.

It would be the Outlaw X5.

GUYS it was great seeing you both. PRVRT, nice score.
In light of some things happening at the show, I do have mine and my hubbies 11 1/2' Cardiac Canyons for sale for a killer price.
These toons have no leaks, never have had. and full deck on top.

The wait is all ready getting to me. I have mods I want to do, add on's to buy, so many things to do. I guess I should get things bought so I am ready to modify when it shows up.
FG, I have a few friends that may be interested in your toons. PM me a price so I can let them know. A few pics would be good also. I know you have posted them in a threads some where, but I have not found them yet.

What's the "killer" price, I'm interested. How long have you had them?

RIGHT ON!!!!! Pictures. And the race is on for new mods. You already got the head start with the stabilizer thingy for the lean bar[crazy]
I have a few ideas. The rod holders, I am going to use the same set-up that is on the Navigator. Come to think of it, the transducer should work also, I just need to move it to the middle.
I AM SOOOOOOO EXCITED! But I have seen mine!!!! Just waiting for the hubbys.

I ordered the oar holders (ATV Gun Rack), Spin/Cast and Fly rod holders (Scotty's), locking seat swivel and oar tethers. I need to either build an anchor or go buy one and build the lean bar lock. Then I can work on a motor, Fish Finder, and battery. I may even put a down rigger on it, who knows. [

With it in the Zodiac position, downriggers could work real well.
I keep forgetting about that option[

It looks like the accessory parts are starting to show up. So far I have the locking seat swivel, rod holder extensions, and gun/oar holders.
[inline "toon parts.jpg"]
Now if I just had a toon to put them on. [unimpressed]
[signature]
How much were those gun/oar holders? An why the extension? How is that going to work?
[signature]
Oar holders were $25. The extensions go into the base of the rod holders and raise the rod holder up higher. I was thinking they would help for the rear rod holders when I have items on the rear deck. These would help get the rods up above the items and make it a little easier to reach them, especially with the seat extension I ordered. If not, I can use them on the boat.

Sweet! Nice idea. We are thinking the raised seat and rowing also. I don't know though, I like the idea of the feet in the water to hold a position.
Heay, anything goes..... right
