[cool]Went out after work to a new place for me. It was just north of pumphouse cove. The wind was blowing pretty good but was able to get around in the tube. I caught three stripers 1lb14,2lb7,3lb1 on a white gulp minnow grub. Also hooked a 2lb LMB but he spit the hook 10 feet from the tube. Sorry no pics; forgot camera. Still waiting for some topwater action. May go out sat am and try it out.

Cool man- are those stripers schooling shallow, or are you picking off lone cruisers?

[cool]They seem to be loners. I would fan cast the area after catching one with no takers. I was trying for LMB , fishing tight to the shore and got stripers instead.. They hit after the lure went a little deeper on the retreive.

Launched at Boulder Harbor Tuesday afternoon. Surface Water temps in high 60's and over by Kingman Wash 70 degrees. Found some males on nests in Kingman Wash in 10 to 25 ft, but they pushed our baits off just nipping them. When a Water Fleas drove right over our flat we left. One striper at Kingman on a grub used as a drop bait.
Nothing down by the dam or at the point of Hemingway Wall. 2 bass at dusk off chunk rock ledges. Calm conditions meant meant multiple casts and dead-sticking with lots of patience to catch them.
Thinking post spawn funk in this lower basin area.

[cool]Hey reellittlephish, nice to hear you found them on the beds. Maybe they just need to be pissedoff more to attack the baits. I own a couple of skis and steer clear of guys out fishing. It would be nice if other jetskiers had alittle more courtesy towards their fellow water users.
