Started from warm river confluence and hit a few spots-later hit the river near Ashton res. Caught all of our fish near the reservoir- would say about 100 above highway. Caught 5 bows and a dozen or so whities. Kept a couple bows for dinner. Gorgeous day! All of nymphs-prince nymph and rubber legs were the ticket! Fish were stuffed with helgramites!!!

Not trying to be combative----- (0: Stonefly nymphs probably not helgramites, though those from the east( me being one of them 30 years ago) confuse that often,
Brother has been doing very well thru that section with a zebra midge.

I've been wondering about that. I keep hearing mention of hellgramites in Idaho and I was beginning to wonder. Never seen a dobsonfly out here.

I've called them helgramites since I was a kid...even though I realize it's that really that nymph...sorry old habits! Yes-stonefly nymphs and these things are big!

I'm actually pretty glad we have stoneflies instead out here. Hellgramites are kind of irritable little buggers.

I figured that's what you were doing- just like the Bullhead /Sculpin deal.
