on 4-21-2009 went back to UL for some more Catfish action and wasn't disappointed we fished from 4:00 until dark this big ole meat head was the largest caught him on a bobber and a chunk of fresh carp meat. He put up a really good fight as soon as I hooked him he jumped head first out of the water like a Bass my 8' 6'' pole and shimono bait cast with 12 lb test were put to their test he buried himself into the dead reeds we pulled anchor and I reeled myself over their and pulled him loose. Had another prior to this one break me off in a pile of reeds seemed like the big ones were picking on my smaller pole but it was fun. We caught a total of 11 channels and 1 mud cat. cant wait to get back out their [fishin]
