Did not fish this week end [shocked] Fair weather guy I guess. I have to fish in bad weather during a tourney.....but iI don't have to do it for fun.
The only reason I made that comment on wipers it seems like I've caught em on cranks, lindys, jigs, crawler harnesses, soaking crawlers & minnows, trolling, wind drifting, casting and vertical.
And most of the time I'm not even targeting them [crazy]
They are a very co-oprerative fish.

Every time I go elk hunting I see the biggest bucks. Come deer hunting I find the biggest bulls......
I've never really went after the wipers. Maybe I will and see if the same theory applies to fishing. Maybe I'll fill the boat with walleye and those pesky wipers will be absent?
I know I like catching them, they fight.

I hear you on seeing the big bulls during the deer hunt and vice versa. I like the idea of the buck bull combo tag. willard has always been tough to target anything in particular for me. I just hope i catch fish when I make the trip. I like all the species that are in that lake so it doesnt matter that much if I accidentally catch something besides walleye. But that is what I would be fishing for.
