Most of this post is not for that trout_man,
cause he can't read so good but can see the pictures when posted...

We headed for Powell at 2:30 on Thursday the 23, had a nice trip down, seen a few rabbits (sorry trout_man no pictures of rabbits) in the head lights...

We got to Bullfrog at 7:00 and was heading down lake, we made a long run all the way up the Juan..We needed to find some bigger bass and was looking for new water up that way....

We had no trouble finding bass, the water temps was 59 and with the moon faze right we found the bass on beds all over...

We started working some big rocks along the shore and was on bass, lots of bass from 13" to 17" both sm bass and Lm bass some up to 3+# but most was in the 1 to 2# range then It all went wrong...

I just could not believe it the wrong kind of fish just kept taking the baits first one then another they would chase the lures and kepted nipping at them, we got one but we could shake it off at the side of the boat but then we had one that took it all the way to the gills so we had to bring it to the boat and had to keep it..

Trout_man I didn't have my camera with me in the rush to get on the water I left it at the truck, but Don had his and said he would send one to me to post sense you don't read so good...

We would hook bass and have schools of shad swimming up with the fish we had on, some of the shad looked to be around 15" to 20" in the water...

Not sure just how many fish we caught but a guess is maybe 50 to 80 bass each from 11" to 17" long and two catfish and two stripers and four crapies and three rainbow trout we had to keep one it got hooked in the gills it was 20 1/4", and a fun first day for Powell...

Day two...Wind was blowing at first light, not bad only 5 to 10 mph at first, we stayed around Bullfrog and got lots of bass from one pound to 3 Lb but lost one at the boat that looked about 4 to 5 Lb, didn't get as many fish this day maybe only 20 to 40 each...

The first day of the tournament was windy they said winds up to 60mph, there was 87 boats and we was 82 boat out...We had a limit of five bass in under 30 min. but only had 6 to 7 lb, not good but the day was young...(and windy)

We had till 5:00 to fish and used all of the time but could only get 8Lb of weight...

Day two of Tournament and out of the running for the money we went prefishing again...We wanted to find bigger bass...
We headed north up to goodhope bay and found lots of bass but still small...
one pound and two pound bass us every where, and on this day we had to be in by 3:00 at about 1:30 or so we found a BIG Lm bass on a bed looked to be 5 to 6+ lb so we started to work the fish, it would pick up the lure and put it out of the bed with out getting the hook in its mouth, we did hook the male bass that was with the bigger bass and it was small in size to the other one, the male was 3.4# and about 4 to 5" shorter then the other one...We did at one time when the bass was putting the lure out of the bed hook the fish and get it to the boat but the hook was on the out side of the mouth so we let it go as fast as we could so it would go back to its bed, we just ran out of time and had to go in we made it with only 15 scends to go, and weighted only 9+ pounds but had lots of fun....I will post the pictures for Trout_man as soon as I get them, sorry he can't read any better...But I hope the pictures will help....[][crazy]

That is a pretty funny post there. By the way who is Trout_Man??? You couldnt be talking about me since I am pretty good at reading.....yes, even your posts' that are so screwed up with mispelled words and words jumbled together like a 3 year old!!! Hope you figure out how to post the pictures yourself some day, people shouldnt have to [#ff0000]( edit ) [/#ff0000]post your pix!!!! Cliff,you don't help matters much when you make a post like you did either, you more or less called him on[mad]. Some of the guys will say things like you did when they are kidding each other but I did not get the impression that you were kidding and from TS reaction, I don't think he did either. We value you Cliff as a member that goes the extra mile in helping other members and we enjoy your post but you know how to push certain members buttons and that is not what we need to keep our board going strong. Thanks for understanding and keeping your post free of personal attacks.

I have not been on this site alot latley because of this crap. Why cant a guy post something about his trip without being called out on it because he did not post pics. I thought this was a site for a bunch of good guys to tell there fishing stories and share there expierences on the waters in our great state. This site is really getting bad and its a shame. I posted something about yuba a couple of weeks ago and basically got told that I didnt know how to fish because I got skunked. I am sure every person that visits this site has been skunked a few times. Also I didnt think we had to be perfect spellers to post something, I understand and love bassrods posts. He has helped me a few times as I changed from trout fishing to the warm water fish. Bass rods keep posting, I will always read them as will alot of other people I know.

I totally agree with you and Wiper.....Bassrods has helped in so many ways on this board, but if he wants to call someone out than he better be ready for a "re-attack"!!! Do you have to post pix in your post??? Heck no, it just makes the post that much better when you do and that is all I was telling him a while back. Its amazing how many people come to the rescue for him (which is fine by me) but it is even more amazing how many private messages I get from people about him as well. Dont get me wrong, I have never met him before and he maybe a top notch guy, but he was outright disrespecting me (cant read), so I went on the attack (cant spell). I remember the one time that I got banned for 7 days because he did the same exact thing (posted a report calling me out) and when I went on the re-attack he went and deleted everything he wrote so I would be the one that looked like the bad guy!!! Regardless it is childish, I was just raised and have been trained by the Military not to let people push you around and I will be damned if I do!!!

If some one attacks me I fight back, look back at other posts and see how many times this has happen in the past and how many times his post or reply has had been removed or blocked for what he has implied and what had to be removed from his today...Some one comes at me they get a fight...

Cliff started it this way just get TS upset and there is no call for those types of post here. Now Cliff might come back and say he was just kidding but at that point it is too late because the damage is done and TS has already made his remark. Don't blame TS because he came back with some remark that he should not have made when Bassrods(BR) started it in the first place. Moderators can't be here all the time when these things start but it is our jobs to try and put a stop to it when we do notice them. I don't know TS personally but from what I can see he made his remark to BR about spelling only because BR started it, I doubt he cares if folks mis-spell words, he was just using that to get back at BS. This is childish stuff from both these guys but don't blame one with out blaming the other, as I stated above we value BR post but this childish stuff needs to stop from both you guys BR and FS.
The main thing we all need to remember is not to take this site so seriously and if someone says something you don't like just let it go and try not to let it get to you. Not one of us is perfect, we have all been skunked and lets all get out and do some fishing. WH2
