I'd say musky too. I've been looking into it a bit on what else to use and try. I've caught 2 in my lifetime. One on a terminator spinnerbait that weighed ten pounds.

I caught 1 big one last fall steelhead fishing them teeth scared the hell out off me i cut the line let him have my hook..we have quite a few in our river systems and very few people fish them..this sounds like the ultimate challenge..

I would like to learn musky also. I would like to continue to learn how to fish the for walleye.

the only thing ive trully learned about walleye is that when they dont wanna bite..they dont..lockjaw was invented by these fish!!

I started out fishing for catfish 2 years ago. I've moved to bass this year. I want to learn how to catch something other than catfish, bass, crappie, bream.

muskies and walleyes would be cool, but i don't think I really have any around here. Trout would be the next choice, but I'm not sure I have any of those real close by either...

Crappie elude me.... I have tried to catch that fish for years and years and never had any consistent luck with that fish. They are the best eating but probably the hardest fish for me to catch for some reason.

get a bobber and a bucket of minnows..its really not that hard..oh no i mentioned live bait didnt i!

This is true, minnows are the Crappie magnet!

And by the way, do they not like live bait around here?

i dont here it mentioned to often might be a safe asumtion..could be wrong..but minnows after dark will catch alot of specs..thats what we call them up north..

I will add crappie and perch to my list. I have caught both of them while targeting other species but have never realy targeted them.

I grew up on live bait and always thought it was the best, but have started using artificial within the last 5 to 7 years and came to find I really started to like it too. I guess it just depends on what I am fishing for at the time. I will give them both a try and whichever is doing the best at the time is what I role with.
