[#000000]I saw onhttp://www.utahfishfinder.com/hotspots.shtml
[#000000]that there is 20 feet of water between the shore and the ice and I believe that I heard on this forum that once that happens, it only takes 3-4 days for complete Ice-Off.[/#000000][/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]I am going to assume that if the ice isn't completely off by next Friday that it will at least be gone enough for me to get my boat out in it.[/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]So, the question I have for you is what is the best stuff to use on the fish cruising the shore.[/#000000]

[#000000]Last season, I had a great time jigging white tube jigs with chub meat on the hooks. Also, trolling with the same thing worked. However, that was from about the middle of June onward.[/#000000]

[#000000]Do the fish like to eat something else in the first couple weeks after IceOff before the water turns over?[/#000000]

[#000000]If you have pictures of the lures you use during this time of year, that would be AWESOME. It's always better to see a picture of what works.[/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. I am going to try my best to completely wear out my boat this year [sly]. [/#000000]

I like black maribou jigs. They can be cast or trolled parallel to the shore as close as you can get. You're imitating leeches so sometimes dark brown or purple work better but black will usually do it. Plastics also work if that what you got. Or cast onto the edge of the ice and slowly pull it off of the edge and work it back to ya. Have fun!
