Popular TV show set to debut a second season
Charleston, S.C., April 21, 2009-GillznFinz TV (GNFTV), the award-winning, hit reality show with an ever-growing cult following, is back for its sophomore season with 13 episodes scheduled to debut May 8, 2009. This season (Season 2) is packed with more fishing adventures, bands, and comedy skits than before.
Host of the show and Executive Producer, Captain Adam Paul, is excited for the release of Season 2. "If you liked Season 1 of Gillznfinz TV, I can't wait for you to see Season 2," said Paul. "The footage we were able to capture in Season 2 is something special. We have come a long way since our first rodeo."
After winning nine awards in the first season, the next installment of 13 episodes is going to be a different experience with new destinations and new adventures. Viewers can look forward to seeing epic fishing expeditions from Colorado, Hawaii, Tennessee, Mexico and South Carolina.
While still bringing fishing, traveling, music and good eating to viewers, Season 2 has gone a step further by fishing with some of the show's featured bands; Widespread Panic, Umphrey's McGee and Dangermuffin are several bands that joining GNFTV on the water this Season.
"One thing that I like about Season 2 is the realness of the content," says Paul. "We want people to be able to relate to the show, and recreate the trips that we take. We have a wide spectrum of fans, and some of them have never fished a day in their lives! For the people that already love the sport... well, they are bringing in new fans, too." Paul explains, "...their wives, children, friends and family members are watching and saying things like - "˜Now I understand why you like to fish so much!'"
GNFTV can be seen on Insight Sport's World Fishing Networks, the newly formed outdoor network Untamed Sports and on local affiliates throughout the country. The show can also be seen streaming on GillznFinz.com, which doubles as a social network for fans and fisherman alike. The show's growing popularity has recently caught the eye of the longtime network leader in outdoor programming, The Versus Network, who plans on airing Season 1 of the show beginning July 1, 2009.
