took my son up to blacktail this afternoon the water was chocolate milk. we did more rock throwing than fishing. fish and game was out electro fishing and i had a good conversation with one of there biologists. they are implanting radio trckers in the walleye to monitor their habbits so far what he could tell me he thinks that they are spawning in the willow creek drainage and they need to know how far up they are going. most of the fish are between 12 and 16 inches with the ocasinal 20 incher here and there. he said there is a bunch up towards willow creek. also fish and game stocked blacktail with cutthroats yesterday so if the wate clears up fishing should start to pick up. i wonder why they are feeding the walleyeif they are planning on getting read of them.

I've got a buddy that will be thrilled to hear where to head for the walleye. I'm going to have to get up there and see what I can find, if anything in the next week or two.

I was at Blacktail on Wed. and caught 11 perch all in the 10'' range...went back today with my wife and only caught 2...they must like it when the wind is blow'n over 25 mph like it was Wed.[Smile]
