Hey! Sorry, hope this isn't off the topic of the Utah board, but we're heading to Seward AK the end of the month and want to go halibut fishing. Never been before. Anyone know of a good guide or charter to go with? Thanks for any help!!!

I charter with Al Sherman. He is an awesome guide and has always made sure each client caught their limit. He surely knows where the fish are. Al generally charters the Deep Creeks out of Ninilchik, not too far from Seward and a beautiful drive. I don't have his business card with me to give you his Charter name but I will send you a PM with his contact number. I have also attached a pic of our catch 3 years ago, don't have last years catch on this computer. These aren't the barn doors that we have gotten into before but still made for a great day and some yummy steaks! Hope this helps.

I also go with a guide out of the Deep Creek / Ninilchik area. AFISHUNT Charters - John Baker. They do an excellent job and have some great halibut waters to fish.
