Fishing Forum

Just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I look forward to learning and sharing fishing tips and stories. My name is Vincent Wood but other folks and you can call me Woody Wood or Woody for short. I am 38 years old and have been fishing since about the age of 7 or 8 in fresh and salt water. I was born and raised in the Washington, DC and Maryland area and recently moved back home to DC about almost 2 years now. I was in Columbus, OH for about 6 years to get away for awhile and the fishing was great. (Freshwater: Large and Small Mouth Bass, White Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Big Bluegills, and Monster Catfish) Now that I am back home, I need to re-learn all or find the new fishing spots in the near area.

Spin, never got into fly fishing, looking to try some of these newer day bait casters but have not used one since I first started fishing and that was about 31 to 32 years ago now.
