Well i finally made it to boise. I just arrived from phoenix on the big move and am so excited about learning about the outdoors in a new state. I am a native of Oregon and have spent alot of time hunting in the hells canyon area so i am not totally in the dark when it comes to the area. I love to fish, hunt and just enjoy the outdoors. I made a post when i found out i would be moving and was happy to get all of your welcomes. Better get going got to get out on the road with the family to do some exploring. Plan on heading up to mccall and try and find some critters for the daughter to see.

Welcome to the state! I'm pretty jealous that you went hunting in Hell's Canyon. I've been on two jet boat trips up it, and it's amazing. Did you ever get any sheep?

bears and elk only. wish i had drawn a ram tag. have seen some big boys on other trips in there.

welcome to idaho man,if you ever want to take a little trip to southeast idaho,plan to go check out island park.there is great scenory and your kids got a real good chance of seeing lots of animals.not to mention henrys lake is about as good as it gets.
