[:/]Sorry about not making the outing, but if you knew my Grandpa when he says lets go fishing, you'de better go[mad], besides the fact that he is the reason we both fish[Smile], we hope you guys had a good time, at that there will be another outing in the future. Fishing on bear lake was slow and pretty darn cold, but me and steelienut both ended up landing a couple of nice cuts, it's about time fishing started looking up over there.

yeah yeah that is the story with everybody. the worst part about it all it was the weekend that everybody choose. then nobody but 4 of us showed up. it was rather disapointin. espeacally cause everybody was so amped about doin it then nobody show. but its all good ya all missed out. it was amazin. the deer would come right down and walk through camp.

Man those are nice trout! how deep are you trolling for'em and what are ya using?? Bear lake is about 41/2 hrs from here but looks like it may be worth the trip.

I went over this morning and fished from shore. Caught my first one of the year. Like i said on the utah page if i caught one half the size of yours i would be happy. Well it was and i was. I had a couple others that felt heavy on but just couldnt get the hook to stick. I am going to get some bigger hooks on my spoons. Also has anyone ever tried roe over there, i have some sitting in the fridge going to waiste and think i am going to give it a try.

Never tried roe, but why don't you cure it and freeze it for Salmon and Steelhead fishing or give it to me.

I saved it for the salmon. Also it works great in palaSades. If i have enough i could probly spare some, just not sure how much enough is[sly]

Ya know I don't cure my roe, I freeze it natural in smaller bags. I use it with a womans nylon Kinda like picking up dog crap with a plastic bag. Use whatever color and make it whatever size you want. Turn it inside out and tie a ball with mono or thread. Works better than cureds roe (at least I'm a believer) [:p] Just keep it in a cooler and it lasts alot longer than you would think. Of course it makes your beer taste a little funny[Smile]
