Hey all, I'm new to the forum, I've been reading posts for a bit now trying to find out when the carp are spawning and where on utah lake, but haven't found to much. I'm from logan, and im coming down this morning to try and kill some carp. If anyone can give me any advice on where to look, I'd appreciate it. I always do well at Lindon. Just drive or walk along the dikes and look for the clumps of carp. Try inside and outside the marina, and around the docks. I'm not sure if the water is warm enough for that yet, I haven't been down there for a couple of weeks.

Carp were all over in the backs of the reeds by the banks yesterday just making all kinds of noise. I seen them all over in the open water also yesterday...

I was out the day before your post stuck 10 could of stuck many more, they were grouped in pods all over close to the reeds. It was a ball I haven't pull the fishing bow out for so years I just started back into it this year. Fishing from the boat is almost unfair[sly] to easy with the trolling motor on low, not like walking the bank trying to not vibrate the ground and spooking the fish.
