WEll I got to the lake around 4pm, Adam met me at the ramp. The wind was howling. Tried back in a shallow bay, but is was too muddy. I had to get Adam back to the ramp by 5:30 so we did not have much time. Ened up in a cove fishing mid way back when we found a few fish. They were in about 5 ft of water. First one I hook I think its a cat,, just fighting like crazy, then it comes to the surface jump and throws my worm. I'm yelling get the net as its coming up cause I realize its a bass. From the looks of this fish and the fight it was putting out, it would have been my PB, which right now is only 4.8. Another day I will get it. Lost another slick on the same T-rig worm, this one was much smaller, got it right to the boat. Then finally I get one in the boat, probably right at a keeper, never measured it, but it was a nice fish. It was flat out raining when this one came in the boat. Adam then catches a little one, about 10" on a shaky head. SO I go drop him off and head back out into the sun, feeling ready to get on some more. Fish one shore, then head to a different location and the motor revs up really high and dies. Now it will barely go over idle speed, so this sticks. Looks like I will be doing some back seating in the day and maybe weeks to come until I can get this engine fixed. Who needs a back seater for the CFF?
