With the Lake temps. in the low 50's and maybe warmer up north in Wyo., is there anything going on with my favorite fishen, (smallies @ the G.)? I've really got cabin fever to take the Sparkinator, tent trailer and hunker down in a remote section (i.e. the Confluence), do some tubing, catching, let Sparky romp, and listen to the coyotes at night. Of course I'd be cooking some great fish and having a little "relaxing" stuff while setun out in my chair. [Smile] One of my favorite things. [Wink] Just wish it wasn't so far.[frown]

They're definitely starting to get more active, especially by afternoon when the water warms a few degrees. I've seen some smallies cruising the shallows and talked to a kayak fishermen that caught some while casting jigs around Antelope Flat a day or two ago. Last year, I started picking up some nice ones once the water temps climbed into the low 50s. The surface temps are still in the upper 40s, but warm to the low to mid 50s by afternoon. Looking at the current weather forecast and minus anymore major wind events, the surface temps should be consistently in the 50s by next week. Good luck, Ryno
