I picked up Fishhound at 5:30am and took him up to the nelle for a day of fishing... He started off with a couple of smallies and then I caught up. Nothing big enough for pics. Toward the end of our fishing we were in a little bay fishing in the middle and Fishhound was fishing vertically below the boat and hooked up with a fish that was taking his drag. I got the net ready and he got it to the top and the hook pulled out. I shoved the net down and tried to scoop but missed. The fish was a big brown trout I estimate at 5lbs. Great looking fish..... We ended up with about 10 smallie and a look at a nice looking brown trout. No pics this trip. nothing big enough brought in the boat... Thanks Fishhound for the company.... We will fish again soon.....

Drop shotting gulp minnows and wacky rigged senko's and Fishhound was swimming 3" curly tails on a jig....

Good conversation, fishing, perfect weather - and not forgetting to mention, an opportunity to donate some hardware and spruce up a what would otherwise be just more dark murkey depths.[/#008000]

Yep stuck in a hotel in Atlanta sucks..... They do have a pool and hot tub here but only seen some whales come out of there............ I hope to be home saturday afternoon... thanks for the company and yes that was a great looking brown...
