Man today was tough. We started out early and we didn't get a bite until about 10:00. Nothing was working and I mean NOTHING. Several guys came by and said???
You guessed it, "you should have been here yesterday"
Several guys said they got over 100 fish the day before but today NOTHING.
We gave up close to the shore and headed deep. The first one hooked up in about 38 foot of water. It was deep enough that when it came up it died from coming up too fast. Then a trout hit, and that was good. We started to get a couple here and there. Soon we had enough fun and I got 3 crappie and 2 trout, Jacob got 3 crappie. Not a real good day but at least I wasn't at work. I hope the pictures work, I didn't know Jacob was taking them. Man I look frazzled.

I almost forgot. Some real winners threw a rattle snake into the water near us. We were lucky that the snake went back at them instead of at us. Ron

Nice meeting you Ron I was the guy fishing where you launched from. You got a nice picture of my chair. I caught about fifteen crappie there then went down to the spill way below the dam and we nailed them. all together we ended up with about eighty fish and thats throwing the little ones back. The only problem fishing down below the dam is the crowds but if you have kids thats the place to go. Rick

Man the way it was where we were it was not that great. I think it might have been the last trip there for a little while for me. I have too many things going on but I want to get back for some Catfish I hope. Good to meet you. Ron
