Hey in case any of you guys were curious Hyrum is really high, the water is very cold, and the fish are not biting. went today and trolled the whole reservoir nothing. We threw everything we had at them. We also tried bait fishing but nothing was working. The fish did start jumping towards about 9 oclock so someone could maybe try a wooly bugger. Everyone else I saw fishing was empty handed as well, and the person at the park station said fishing was very slow.

I have fished Hryum 3 or 4 times this spring and haven't even got a bite. My wife did catch one little 10" rainbow around the beach area. Ice fishing was really slow too. THis is the worst I have ever seen it. I wonder if there was a big fish kill or something...? Also, Where are the Tigers? ON the DWR stocking report it says that they put very a verly large number of them in there last fall and the fall before that? I haven't really heard of anyone catching any of those either.

I agree that Hyrum has been very slow over the last year.

Although, about a week and half ago I was over there with my family, not fishing too seriously but fishing non-the-less.

Try casting rapalas from the bank. Watch where they're surfacing/jumping, and cast into that school with a semi-fast retrieve. My boy and I caught quite a few over an hour's time. Mostly planter 'bows, and nothing too big, but he did catch a Tiger. First one I've seen pulled out of there since they've planted them.

Anyone else have any theories why Hyrum has been this bad?

I trolled this morning for a few hours and got one fish that ate but then got off.
