I am nearly done building my house so I may get to go fishing for more than an hour this weekend. My wife and I are going to see her grandmother Saturday. Then we are going to camp the night at Schofield. Sunday is all fishing all day. Never fished Schofield, what do I do n' how do I do it, where to do it would be a good thing to know too? I have no boat so it will be all shore fishing. Have a 5 month old girl (her first fishin trip) so has to be easy walking from the truck. Would be greatfull for any tips, tricks or sugestions.

This time of year the water is coming up fast. You can work the shallows with pointer/rapala type minnows, or get some shiners and use the as whole bait. A lot of time the big fish will cruise the shallows lookin' for the grub. Good luck and have fun.

A friend of mine did well this last weekend, using the old worm and marshmallow. They caught Bows, Cutts and Tigers. I prefer the south end of the lake. Good luck.
