Hey, I will be visiting my family down in Draper for memorial day weekend, and was planning on hitting one of my favorite streams, the big cottonwood. Having lived in Logan for the past two years, I haven't been able to really fish this stream for the past little while. My question is if anyone has been there lately and what was being used. I know the stream may be a little high, but I will be fishing the brushy area right below Brighton, so hopefully the stream won't be too high. Anyways let me know.

I hav'nt fished it yet this year but Big Cottonwood is where i caught my first fish on a fly. It was years ago - my friend lent me his rod and I had tied a fly that looked like $#!t, no bug ever looked like it. But i caught one on my second cast. I was hooked deeper than the fish. I drove down the canyon went to the store and bought my first fly rod/reel ever.

Best of luck up there!
